Over the past 42 years, I have flown many types of aircraft, some of which are shown on this page.  In 2005, I continued my flight training to earn a MultiEngine Instrument rating, flying the Duchess BE-76 shown in the photos.  I have logged just over 600 hours, with over 100 of that MultiEngine.

My favorite aircraft is the Piper PA-28 (Cherokee, Archer, Warrior)  category because they are very easy to fly, fast and maneuverable.  They are also very safe airplanes - extremely difficult to spin.  PA-28s have great slow flight characteristics, with a stall speed of just 49 knots with full flaps.

I have also flown many Cessnas, which are slightly more roomy aircraft and have a high wing, making it easier to see the scenary.   Cessnas are nice airplanes.  Both kinds of aircraft are great and most pilots have a preference for one or the other.
