The ultimate feeling of freedom is to shake the surely bonds of Earth and rise into the sky, unfettered by worldly cares or concerns, just you and your craft, rising into the limitless blue.

My name is Ed Downs.  I got the flying bug in an Aerospace class in high school in 1970 when I was 16.   After that first flight, I spent every ounce of my spare time getting my license, which I received on my 17th birthday.   Flying provides the same joy for me now as it did when I first soloed.  There's nothing like it!

A very small percentage of people ever experience the joy of flight. When they do, many understand what draws men and women to the sky.    Is it your turn?

Our Aircraft is a Piper Archer 180 horsepower airplane.

This airplane has a glass cockpit, comprised of a Garmin 430 and 600 display.  There are also traditional gauges - airspeed, altimiter and artificial horizon.  These serve as backups in case of electrical failure.   In our flight, you will see how modern avionics have made flying so much easier, safer, and fun!
